Paragon Consulting Services, Inc. of York Pennsylvania has acquired all assets of Metalware, Inc., a leading provider of software for the metals industry, effective April 1, 2002. In doing so, Paragon has created a division now known as their Packaged Software Division (PSD).

The two companies create a strategic complement to each other in that the diverse array of IT services offered by Paragon now allows the Metalware software to be sold as a complete turn-key solution including packaged and custom software, hardware, and business consulting by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced people in the metals industry.
